Project Details

We are passionate about affecting and contributing to positive change in the health sector with a special focus on sterilization and public Health.

In our most recent project, The Alpha Health Group, in collaboration with the Ghana Health Service, conducted a comprehensive pilot baseline assessment of sterilization practices in nine selected health facilities across the Greater Accra and Eastern Regions of Ghana. The assessments were carried out using the American National Standards Institute/Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (ANSI/AAMI) ST79:2017 standards and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) 170 standards.

The primary objective of this assessment was to identify and address gaps in existing decontamination and sterilization practices across Ghana’s healthcare sector.
