In May 2024, Alpha Health Group Inc. conducted a vibrant and impactful community outreach program at Koforidua Adweso in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The initiative, aligned with Alpha Health Group’s mission to promote equitable healthcare access, focused on providing free health screenings, wellness education, and health consultations to women entrepreneurs and community members.
The outreach, which attracted hundreds of participants, featured services including blood pressure monitoring, diabetes screening, body mass index assessments, and personalized health counseling. Participants also received guidance on preventive healthcare practices, mental wellness, and nutrition, all tailored to support the health of women and children in the Community actively engaged in business and community development.
Alpha Health Group’s team of healthcare professionals and volunteers provided culturally competent care, fostering a welcoming environment that encouraged open dialogue and trust between patients and providers. The outreach emphasized the importance of early detection and lifestyle management in reducing the risk of chronic illnesses, especially among women balancing multiple roles in society.
